In an increasingly digital world, Customer Success is evolving. Digital Customer Success (DCS) is moving beyond high-touch, one-to-one models to efficiently serve a broader customer base.

What is Digital Customer Success?

DCS leverages technology and automation, often powered by AI, to deliver value at scale, complementing or replacing traditional high-touch models for specific customer segments.

Key components: In-app guidance, automated email campaigns, personalized dashboards, self-service portals, community forums, webinars, proactive alerts, and AI-driven insights.

Benefits: Increased scalability, cost efficiency, consistent experience, and the ability to serve a "long tail" of customers who may not warrant a dedicated CSM.

Hybrid Approach: Many organizations are adopting a hybrid model, combining high-touch for strategic accounts with digital for emerging or lower-tier customers.

DCS isn't about replacing human connection, but rather intelligent segmentation and leveraging technology to deliver the right touch at the right time. How are you incorporating digital strategies into your CS approach?
